Toasty Toddlers

Toasty Toddlers is a project that provides warm winter outerwear to children birth through age four. The program originated with The Blair County Human Services Office when they noticed that local programs that provided warm winter clothing focused on school-age children and that no services were available to help families with infants and pre-school age children. United Way of Blair County's Family Resource Center began to coordinate the program in 2009 and consistently serves over 350 children each year.

Now through December 9, we are accepting donations of NEW hats, scarves, gloves, coats, and snowsuits for boys and girls.

  • Sizes needed: Newborn through Toddler Size 5T, and 4/5, 5/6, 7/8 or Small.

Our distribution days will be November 10, 14, and 15.

Please assist us in helping the young children of Blair County! If you or your business would like to assist with this effort, contact Denise Adams at (814) 944-0884, ext. 304.  If you or your business would like to make a monetary contribution to Toasty Toddler, please mail or drop off your donation to United Way of Blair County, 5414 6th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
