When Jessica Scott came into our office, we promised her an informative day of job shadowing. She has spinal bifida and was sent to us by the Pennsylvania Association for Individuals with Disabilities (PAID), an organization that links people with disabilities to employment opportunities.

“I am not sure what I want to do yet but I hope to gain different experiences to form a definite career goal” said Jessica. During her visit, Jessica had an opportunity to return to Penn State Altoona; her old college campus, for a campaign presentation before the faculty senate. She also had a chance to see what each member of our staff is working on first hand. We ended the day by inviting Jessica to return to our office as a volunteer and she accepted.
