Funding Opportunities

The United Way of Blair County awards funds annually to 501 (c) 3 organizations that operate programs within Blair County that have the greatest potential to make a positive impact on identified priority need areas:  Health, Education, Welfare and Emergency Needs.

Funds are awarded through a competitive grant process.  The 2011 Request for Proposal will be released on this web-site in January 2011.  A schedule of training opportunities and the application deadline will be posted at that time.  Grant awards will be announced in May, 2011 and funding will be distributed quarterly beginning July 1, 2011.
